Department of Justice approves the Google-Motorola deal

Following the confirmation that Europe approved the acquisition of Motorola Mobility by Google, Reuters is also reporting that the Department of Justice in the United States has stamped their seal of approval for the same deal. The Department of Justice has issued a statement saying that the $12.5 billion deal will not affect the competition let alone, substantially lessen it.
